Project on Improvement of Local Administration in Cambodia (PILAC)

The General Department of Local Administration (GDLA) at the Ministry of interior (MOI) launched the Project on Improvement of Local Administration in Cambodia (PILAC) in January 2007, with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The MOI implemented the Project for three years in four Phases: Phase 1 (January-August 2007), Phase 2 (September 2007—March 2008); Phase 3 (April 2008—March 2009); and Phase 4 (April 2009—January 2010). All project activities in Cambodia were completed in November 2009.
